Miss Jane Bennet-P&P sketch

I'm very happy with the way this one turned out last night, I'm getting better at evening out the skin tone, and hopefully better at the features being less harsh! : ) I present to you-Miss Jane Bennet of P&P

Baby

Here's a baby I drew "off the top of my head" so to speak. Opinions?

Portrait Art-Lilly

So I decided I should start naming my portraits, please introduce yourself to: Lilly!
Since one of my readers pointed out that my facial feautures (mainly the nose) weren't coming out correctly, I've been working on it. I have a hard time not putting lines. I want shadow, not lines! So it's not perfect, but I'm striving to raise my art abilities. I love how her skin tone came out! I picked up some Bristol paper, Vellum. And it was amazing! It blends oh-so much better! So, thoughts on this drawing? Improvements I could make on my next one?

Count Olaf-Unfortunate Events Movie

I'm very excited about this one! It came out almost exactly the way I wanted! I used B pencils (as per a readers advice) and it was much much easier to blend! Thank you! And the picture is actually better in real life than the photo.

Anna Popplewell Sketch-Susan Pevensie Narnia

I'm please with the results of this drawing. I think I captured a little bit of her personality. Sometimes it's very hard for me to capture a persons personality. Thanks for the advice on my last post. Keep it coming!

Acrylic Painting By Natasha Atkerson

My first "real" attempt at shading with paint. Paint is harder, you can't use a blender, and you have to be careful not to use too much, or too little of the shade color.

Art-Wood

I also played around a little with a sketch of some wood! I really like how it came out, almost like wood. But it could be better...my nail stinks....

Art 05/2011

This woman is also...nobody! Just from my imagination. I wanted to practice eyes a bit more, and I'm quite pleased with the result! I think this is probably the best eye I've done, it feels more life like than the rest.

Lady-05/2011

Nobody in particular, just a lady with a face and no name...
How sad, she has no identity...

Chocolate-05/2011

Please, don't be disturbed that I drew a chocolate container, I'm not obsessed...just passionate!

Asian Woman

This isn't anyone in particular, just an Asian woman I found in Google images (altered a bit with creative art licence).

Baby Lying Down

The baby is supposed to be lying on a fur rug. Any tips on fur?

President Abraham Lincoln

Successful man #2! YAY ME! : ) It's supposed to be Abraham Lincoln. However, his head is a bit too big, but I decided it was good for attempt one. I'll probably try him again later some time.

John Wayne Portrait

A Milestone! I've completed my first ever guy! I've never had the guts to draw guys, they before they always came out rather...feminine looking. But I think I finally succeded!
